Touching the Nations invites you to a celebration uniting the deaf and hearing communities, Saturday February 20, 2010 at 4 p.m. The event will be held at Life EmPOWERment Center and will include performances by gospel artists, a deaf choir and a choir featuring both hearing and deaf performers. And, of course we will have food! Come and join us for this FREE event!
The purpose of Touching the Nations is to bridge the communication gap that exists between the Deaf Community and the Hearing World with emphasis on the church-at-large. President Valerie Johnson loves to teach and educate others (especially churches) about ASL and share with them about the plight of those in the Deaf Community often using the members of the Community to assist in classes, etc.
